I love using woodenware because they are quiet to use with utensils and can even serve as cutting boards. These plate bowls are one of my favorite designs to use because they’re great for a rice bowl, salad or breakfast. Lightweight and durable, they could even be used for picnics or camping. All of my cherry plates are made out of quartersawn blanks so they won’t warp or change shape once washed and used on a daily basis. Turned on the lathe, handcarved in the center. Finished with food-safe walnut oil.
