Woodworking Resources

  • To clean: simply wipe out with a damp cloth or hand wash with warm soapy water and air dry. Avoid soaking pieces in water or putting them in the dishwasher or microwave.

To refinish: if it looks dry, you may recoat it with walnut oil, jojoba oil which is hypoallergenic (or a blend of either of those oils with beeswax), or mineral oil. Although mineral oil is easy to find in stores, it is a petroleum product, and does not cure or fully dry. As a result, it’s not my top choice.
